Just to make it more affordable! We are happy to announce that we have changed the date of our event to the 10th of September. Why did we change the date, you may ask? Well, we had so many other great events in July close by, that ticket bookings were affected. We had so many inquiries and interest, that instead of just cancelling, we sourced a new date for you all and just to motivate you a little more, we reduced the price a bit from R1280 to R1150. We have a little longer payment plan in place with three installments. Please RSVP ([email protected]) this week before the 20th of July so we know if the event will go forward. You make the difference! We need our members to pitch in, so this event can happen. This is your event, Pretoria! You don't have to go far to participate in something great. I really want to emphasize that this event is not just about what we can each get from it (and let's be real, it's always great to receive stuff!), but it is also about what we can give. Let's get together on this, and help these little lives survive an thrive. This past week I visited our charity for the event: TPOSA. I met lovely Jeanette who is heading this charity and has been working hard at saving little lives for the past 13 years. Hubby and I spent a full afternoon getting to know her, listening to the stories of the little ones in her care. The charity has touch hundreds of lives thus far and at the moment they are looking after more than 300 children. Jeanette has 5 babies in her care, at her own home, with all the extra responsibilities of running the charity. Incredible! We held and hugged and changed the 5 little beauties and my left arm ached by the evening from all the cuddling and picking up and holding. I will be posting more on this soon. So, get going and invite your friends to come join us on this occasion. We will be posting images of the projects you will be doing on the day, so watch out for those in the next week or so. I can however guarantee that our three teachers will once again wow you and it will be worth your while. Ivytree Studio will be sponsoring some of the paper you will receive on the day and just to show you what you can do with it, here is a couple of images: If you are a retailer (no matter how big or small) and you would like to be interviewed in a blogpost like this one, email Ansu at [email protected] to become a member. Your first year is free! The same goes for teachers! Join us and make this Society the place to go for information on scrapbooking in our area!
We will be adding a free directory to the website as well. You can also add your events and classes to the Events calendar. Send your class schedules to the same email address to be uploaded. Comments are closed.
